Awana Clubs
Awana at Lord of Life
Our Awana Clubs meet on Wednesdays from 6-7:30pm during the school year (Sept-April). We have open enrollment all year long, so please feel free to sign up and join us! We offer Cubbies for preschoolers (ages 3-4, must turn 3 by Sept 1st); Sparks for Grades K-2; and Truth & Training for Grades 3-5.
The goal of Awana is reach kids with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. While we have engaging themes and fun games each night, the primary focus is to get the kids into the Bible. By learning key verses we hope to show kids how God is alive and active in their lives each day to bring them closer to Him!
Why Awana?
Because Awana isn’t just for kids. It’s for the adults they’re becoming.
Awana gives kids a place to have fun, build friendships, memorize God’s Word, and grow in their relationship with Jesus. But the goal reaches far beyond Wednesday night. An independent study of more than 1,000 adults who attended Awana as children found that its impact can continue for decades. As adults, former Awana participants were 46% more likely to read or study the Bible weekly and 45% more likely to share their faith with others than the U.S. averages.
Even more than the statistics, Awana alumni remembered the people who invested in them. 87% said someone at Awana encouraged them spiritually, and 60% said Awana was instrumental in their decision to follow Christ.
What happens at Awana doesn’t have to stay at Awana. We’re investing in kids today with the hope of seeing them grow into adults who know God’s Word, love Jesus, serve others, and pass their faith on to the next generation.
