Our Scripture reading for today is the Parable of the Wicked Tenants that is found in Luke 20:9-20. In this story Jesus illustrates the relationship we have with God the Father. We are simply stewards of what he has given us. He deserves his share of the fruit that is produced in our lives. But like the tenants in this story, we often reject the messengers that call us back to our master and owner.
