The Holy Spirit fuels Jesus’ witnesses to declare the wonders of God

Todays reading is one of the most difficult readings to understand of all the readings we have covered in this message series. We take some interpretive cues from the Old Testament and discover that the message here is about how God empowers his Church to be his witnesses. We live in difficult times. People are often hostile towards the Church and the message that has been entrusted to it. But God gives us everything we need to accomplish his purposes. There may be times when evil seems to have triumphed, but in the end God triumphs. The reading for this week is Revelation 11-12.
