arise and build_wide_t_nv

As Lord of Life receives its new pastor, we identify with a time of rebuilding.  In the Scripture reading from Nehemiah 4:1-15 and 6:15-16, Israel was rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem after its time of exile.  The people did the “work with all their heart.”

Our prayer is that the people of Lord of Life join together at this time of receiving a new pastor to build upon the work of the past and to “work with all their heart.”

Every day is new and full of opportunity as people of God in Jesus Christ who, through His cross and empty tomb, walks us through the forgiveness of our sin and into eternal life, both now and forevermore.  Let the building commence and continue!

The New Creation (Revelation 22:1-21)

We have come to the end of this message series on Revelation.  Today we look at Revelation 22 that brings this book to a close.  Although it is the the end of the Bible, it is just the beginning of the story.  God makes all things new.  And to fully understand what the end will be like we go back to the beginning to God’s original creation. The reading for this week is Revelation 22:1-21.
