Join Us for Holy Week

Lord of Life family and friends,

I invite you to join us this week as we remember and give thanks for the work Christ accomplished for our eternal salvation. It’s a holy week when demonstrated the fullness of his love for us! It’s also a great week to invite friends, family and neighbors to hear the good news of God who gives us hope and life today.

  • Maundy Thursday Service: Apr 6 at 6:30pm. A service with communion to remember the night Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper and washed his disciples feet.
  • Good Friday Service: Apr 7 at 6:30pm. A service to remember when Christ died on the cross to forgive our sins.
  • Easter Eggtravaganza: Sat, Apr 8 at 10am. A fun family event to hear the gospel message and enjoy face painting, a bounce house, crafts, music and an egg hunt.
  • Easter Sunday: Apr 9 at 8:30 & 10am. We’ll celebrate the resurrection of Christ and receive holy communion. Nursery (ages 0-3) and Sunday school will be offered for all children ages Preschool-8th grade at the 10am service.

Holy Week Worship 2016

This is the week of our salvation. It began on Palm Sunday with Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. It will lead to Thursday when he was betrayed and eventually to Good Friday when he suffered and died for us. Then on Easter morning, the victory over death that is ours in Christ! Join us this week as we remember and receive the work that God did for us this Holy Week.

Childcare (ages 0-3) is available for all of our services.

Maundy Thursday Worship – Mar 24 at 7pm

Good Friday Prayer – Mar 25 at 3pm, the hour Jesus breathed his last, Pastor Matt will read Scripture and offer a prayer in the Family Life Center to remember this holy moment in history.

Good Friday Worship – Mar 25 at 7pm

Eggstravaganza – Sat, Mar 26 at 10am – Easter egg hunt and the gospel message for children!

Easter Sunday Worship – Mar 27 at 8:30 and 10am. Come celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and the eternal life he won for us!

Pastor Matt will continue to paint during these services and the painting will be completed on Easter morning. May the Lord bless you this Holy Week.

The Power of the Resurrection

The resurrection of Jesus is the greatest event in history. But how does it change your life today? What difference does it make after Easter? That’s what we’re going to learn in these weeks after Easter. Beginning Sun, April 12, we’ll start a new 6-week sermon series called The Power of the Resurrection: Experiencing Jesus Beyond Expectations. During Jesus’ post-resurrection appearances Jesus replaced doubt with faith, restored those who denied him, opened minds to understand the Scriptures and built his church. Join us for worship as we dive into the post-res appearances of Jesus.

April 19th – Stop Doubting and Believe

April 26th – The Power to Restore

May 3rd – The Power to Make Disciples

May 10th – He’s Not Gone, He’s Not Done

May 17th – The Power to Return
