Pocket Change

All loose change during the month of March will go to support C24/7 Father’s Arms Ministries. C24/7 Father’s Arms Ministries is a non-profit Christian organization that improves the lives of children and young adults in the Rogers Park Chicago neighborhood by providing an Christ-centered after school program. Visit the lobby display table and take a donation slip from the display. Bring back the item shown on the slip this month to help the program. Next week, Mar 10, James & Natalie Crockett (founders) will be at Lord of Life to visit and share their story of hope. We are planning a trip to the neighborhood on Thu, Mar 21 from 3-8pm. See the All-Church Outreach announcement for details. Please visit C247fam.org.

Help Quilters of the King With Your Quilt Supply Donations
Quilters of the King is a group of women that meet at the church each week and have made quilts for the past ten years for missions. They are now starting on lap quilts for Chloe, our Comfort Dog, to take to local Alzheimer’s centers. We are always in need of clean batting to fill the quilts, clean sheets in good condition and other materials. The quilters would love to have more women join their group. They meet on Thursday mornings at 9am along with a devotional, fellowship and lots of treats. Don’t like to sew? No problem! We have many other jobs that they would be glad to teach you. For additional info, please contact Pamela McLane at (630) 879-0989.
Christian Books – please donate to local library or resale shop
Many people have dropped off books, music CDs and other Christian material to donate to the church library. While we have a resource office for very specific materials, Lord of Life does not have a library. We encourage you to donate your items to your local library or to Goodwill type resale shops.
