God’s Word calls all who trust in Jesus “saints,” yet we hardly feel the label applies to us. Jesus calls us according to what He empowers us to be. Through his forgiveness we are “saints,” cleansed and forgiven. By the working of His Holy Spirit in our lives He is shaping us more and more to fit that description. Like Zacchaeus in Luke 19:1-10, we are “saints under construction.”
