Holy Week begins on Sunday, April 1 with Palm Sunday Worship at 8:30 and 10am. On Palm Sunday we celebrate Jesus’ triumphal entry into the Holy City of Jerusalem as worshippers shouted, “Hosanna, blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.” (see Mark 11:1-11)
Maundy Thursday worship is on Thursday, April 5 at 7pm. On Maundy Thursday we remember the night Jesus was betrayed and take part in the Lord’s Supper which Jesus instituted on this night.
Good Friday Worship is on Friday, April 6 at 7pm. Good Friday we remember Jesus’ death on the cross of Calvary and what that sacrifice means for us. This is one of the most moving worship services of the entire year.
We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday, April 8 at 8:30am and 10am. This brings the Holy Week to its climatic conclusion which joyful celebration of the incredible triumph of Jesus over death and the grave. It is a victory he now gives to us.
