I have yet to hear a person say that they regretted studying God’s Word. Growing in the Word will only do you good. On the other hand, I have heard many people regret mistakes they made because they were not connected to the Word. Maybe you have heard it said that a worn out Bible is the sign of a person who is not. The opposite would be true as well. It is my prayer for our church that we would make spending time in the Word to be a priority.
This fall, Lord of Life is offering several opportunities for you to grow in the Word with other believers. It is good to read and study the Bible on our own, but there is something to be said when we gather as brothers and sisters in Christ to seek God’s wisdom. Jesus promises where two or three are gathered, he is present with them. Many of the Bibles promises are directed not to individual believers, but believers gathered together. Connect groups are a great way discover the power and the presence of God in community. So please take the opportunity to browse this catalog and find the Connect Group that is right for you. We look forward to journeying together with you as we seek to serve the Lord and live for Him!
