We’ll meet at the LaFox Train Depot at 5am (until 7am). Come anytime in between, even for only 5 minutes if you can spare the time. If you’d like to help or need more info please contact Curt Berg at cberg@lolchurch.net or (630) 715-2674.

Join Us for Christmas Worship

Help Serve on Christmas Eve and Day
We are in need of cookies and breads for fellowship on Christmas Eve between services and Christmas Day after service. We are also looking for ushers on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services—we are in need of a captain and ushers for Christmas Day and ushers for Christmas Eve. Finally, we need help for fellowship on Christmas Eve. If you are interested in serving, sign up on the Connection Card or contact Mary Miller at 630-365-2205 millers800@sbcglobal.net.

Serve at Lazarus House
Every 3rd Thursday and 4th Friday Lord of Life serves at Lazarus House. If you’d like to provide a meal, bring a beverage, provide a side dish, make lunches, or spend the night, there’s something you can do to help those who are less fortunate than us. Why do we do this? Not because we feel sorry. No, it’s because of God’s great love that allows us to love them and show that through our service. Want to be a part of the team? For more info please contact Jacqui Fountain at quijac13@gmail.com or (630) 235-2255.

Simple and Convenient Ways to Serve at Lord of Life
Are you willing to serve the Lord at least one Sunday a month at Lord of Life? We have a spot just for you. You can help as an usher, greeter, sound and projection servant or nursery volunteer. Ushers help people as they enter worship and greeters welcome people as they enter the church building. Sound and projection servants help run sound and move slides on the screens during the worship services. Nursery volunteers help care and love the youngest people during worship. We’ll provide you with personal training before you start and answer your questions. It’s a fantastic, convenient and simple way to respond to God’s grace. Your smile and willing attitude will help make Lord of Life a more welcoming place to connect people with Jesus. Interested or simply want more info? Contact Mary Miller at millers800@sbcglobal.net or 630-365-2205.
