Save the Date: Ministry Kickoff Celebration, Sun, Sep 7
Be sure to join us for worship at 8:30 or 10am on Sun, Sep 7 for a special Ministry Kickoff Celebration. This is our primary vision setting event of the year! A new ministry year begins this fall and there is so much to share with you. In addition to worship, Pastor Matt will share several ministry updates and where we are headed in new ministry year. Join the Walk for Life to Support TLC Pregnancy Services
Lord of Life is assembling a team to walk in the 2014 Walk for Moms and Babies on Sat, Sep 20 from 9am-Noon at Lord’s Park Pavilion in Elgin. The walk raises funds for TLC Pregnancy Services in Elgin—a pro-life local crisis pregnancy center—that helps 100s of women in the surrounding communities each month. Support Our August Mission of the Month
Our August Mission of the month is Mission Possible, a brand new mission partner at Lord of Life. They are only two years old yet they are serving hundreds of people locally in Aurora, IL. They provide both physical and spiritual needs, offering Bible studies, prayer, companionship, job search assistance, free dental and vision care, addictions recovery, along with medical, orthopedic, chiropractic care and physical therapy. Let us all pray for the work of our fellow servants at Mission Possible and be generous with our loose change for the month of August. Feed My Starving Children
A serving event held in Aurora IL to package meals to be shipped overseas to those who desperately need nutritional food supplements. Please mark your Connection Card to come and assemble these packages on Tue, Sep 23 from 8-9:30pm. Grow in Relationships and God’s Word in a Connect Group

School supplies are needed for the 3,400 children who attend Liberian Children’s Ministry which includes Joe Boway’s 12 Christian schools in Liberia. Play Basketball at Lord of Life on Mondays
