The two Scripture readings for Sunday are Revelation 6:9-11 and Luke 16:19-31. We’ll also sing some fantastic music about heaven. Come find hope and comfort this Sunday during worship at 8:30 or 10am.

Operation Christmas Child
Please visit the Operation Christmas Child display in the Solid Rock Lodge. You will find everything you need there to start your adventure of making a special Christmas gift for a boy or girl somewhere in the world. Since 1993, God has worked through people like you to send more than 135 million shoeboxes to children in 158 countries. Lord of Life Church will host a shoebox packing party for the first time on Sat, Oct 29, from 1-3pm. Please feel free to bring a friend. We will have shoeboxes, wrapping paper, and some gift donations to get you started in packing your shoebox. Therefore, we’ll need lots of donations – wrapping paper, tape, safety scissors, small toys, school supplies, hard candy and gum, and hygienic supplies. We’ll also need cases of bottled water, and lots of snacks. Please review the donation list at the OCC display table. All shoeboxes donated at Lord of Life Church will be collected on Sun, Nov 20. For the child receiving a shoebox gift, it may be his or her first step of a lifelong walk with Jesus Christ.
