Preparing for Worship
Jesus told us in Luke 6:21 that “Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.” For Christians, that is a great truth. We, like most, will indeed have times of sorrow and hurt. But because we believe in a God who wills the best for each of us, we can look beyond our tears to our times of happiness. The resurrection of Jesus gives us happiness because we know that God wins in the end. Knowing this, God grants us joy in the midst of our pain. We know, without question, that we can never be separated from the love of God. So be of good cheer. We are winners after all. Read 1 Corinthians 15:17-26 to prepare for Sunday. Come rejoice in the goodness of God in Christ at 8:30 & 10am.

Save Lives and Donate Blood on Sun, Nov 26
Stop by Cup of Life Cafe just north of Solid Rock Lodge and give the gift of life. You’ll also get a free long sleeve t-shirt and some treats!

Stop By the Giving Tree

Back by popular demand! It’s what we’ve waited for all year. Choose an ornament off the Giving Tree in the lobby and help a family who may not experience the fullness of Christmas without your gift of love. It’s what we do – share God’s love by reaching out to others! May others feel the presence of our Savior through the outpouring of love from His children to His children. We partner with H.E.L.P.S. Ministry to distribute these gifts to families in their ministry area. For more info contact Jan Berg (630) 818-7532.

Operation Christmas Child is not only a wonderful way to bring joy and hope to children living in desperate conditions, it is also a tremendous evangelism ministry. Last year 1.6 million children came to faith in Jesus Christ after receiving a shoebox and going through the Operation Christmas Child discipleship program!
