Help Deliver Poinsettia Plants
Two years ago we started a tradition at Lord of Life where we deliver poinsettia plants at the end of the year to our families who have lost loved ones during the current year. It’s a way to remember and to love on one another with a plant and a smile to show we care. Would you like to help deliver some plants this year? If so, you can sign up on your Connection Card. We’ve set the date for Thu, Dec 14 at 7pm. For more info please contact Curt Berg (630) 715-2674 or email cberg@lolchurch.net

Please Return Shoeboxes This Week
Operation Christmas Child shoebox collection week is almost here. Please drop off your shoeboxes at Lord of Life between Mon, Nov 13 and Sun, Nov 19. Your family, friends, and neighbors can also drop off their shoeboxes at our church. If you have one or two hours when you can help greet children and their parents as they drop off their shoeboxes, please contact Dwayne Nelson at (630) 488-2510. Thank you from all of the children worldwide who receive your gift of joy and hope! For the child receiving a shoebox gift, it may be his or her first step of a lifelong walk with Jesus. You are welcome to join us for a special Prayer Gathering on Tue, Nov 14, at 7pm, when we will pray over all of the shoeboxes that are being dropped. We will pray that your shoeboxes will bring joy and hope to all the children who receive them. More importantly we will pray that the children will be receptive to the Good News of Jesus Christ.
