Pastor will teach a 5-week Bible class on 1 John from Wed, Apr 6—Wed, May 4 at 6:30-8pm. This will be an in-depth study of this letter from the Apostle John who was one of the first eyewitnesses of the resurrection. Stay in the Word after Easter; sign up online or on the Connection Card. Serve at the Elburn Food Pantry Dinner
On Thurs, Mar 31 from 5-7pm, we will provide the meal for those who use the Elburn Food Pantry. The main entree will be pulled pork sandwiches from Ream’s Meat Market. Please register online or check your Connection Card to provide food items or offer your services. It’s a great way to connect people with Jesus and to serve together. SonSpark Labs VBS is Coming July 11-15!
Grab your lab coat and get ready for a chain reaction of fun this summer, July 11-15! At SonSpark Labs, kids will discover God’s formula for life – GP4U = J (God’s Plan for You = Jesus). They will trace God’s life-changing plan as it’s revealed from creation to the present and on into the future. They’ll find answers to life’s most important questions. They will learn that God loves them and that through Jesus they are members of God’s family. More details are coming soon!

Quilt for God’s Glory
Quilters of the King are so grateful to all who donate to us. It is a blessing to have the support. Quilters of the King is a mission-focused group that gives quilts to those in need. We welcome moms with children and are hoping to have some school-age girls come in to learn to sew this summer. With this in mind, we will need more portable sewing machines. If you know of someone who would like to donate a good working portable machine please let me know. If you have a child that would like to learn how to sew this summer, please call Pamela McLane at (630) 879-0989.

Capital Campaign Update
The corner sign team is getting detailed estimates for a new corner sign. The Trustees are getting bids for roof repair and the work is expected to begin soon. The campaign team will give a more detailed update this Sunday. The purpose of the campaign is to position our church for the next 25 years of ministry. Thank you for your prayers and thanks for fulfilling your pledge by the end of June.

New Women’s Bible Study Living a Chocolate Life by Deb Burma
Fun, friendly, and engaging, Living a Chocolate Life invites women to savor God’s rich and endless supply of grace in Christ. Whether they’re sampling bitter nuggets of pain to sweet morsels of joy, this study reminds them that the Holy Spirit fills us with sweet faith in our Savior. The study will be offered on Tuesday evenings beginning Tue, Apr 5 at 7pm. Please sign up via the Connection Card.

Support our March Mission of the Month
Beautiful U Ministries, located in Elburn, is a Christ-centered, family-style intervention program for at-risk pregnant teens and teen mothers. Beautiful U works together with local social work organizations to prayerfully place a young women with a Christ-centered Beautiful U satellite-home family. Visit Beautiful U’s resale shop at 112 N. Main Street, Elburn, where all profits help fund their mission. Donate your new and gently used items, shop or become a volunteer. All loose change for this month will go to support Beautiful U Ministries.

Serve at Beautiful U Ministries
Please join us for an opportunity to serve at Beautiful U Resale Shop on Mon, Apr 18. We will meet at 6:15pm every third Monday of the month at the shop (112 N. Dare to Share – Live It Up Tour
There is still space, but not for long! Dynamic training, worship, drama, and outreach that will help youth (grades 8-12) discover how to live a life that is upwardly focused on the Father, inwardly fueled by the Spirit, and outwardly inviting others to the party of new life in Christ. Basic Training for Confirmation
Get trained on the basics of faith and life. There are four sessions: 1) Discovering the Bible, 2) Encountering Jesus, 3) Living on Purpose, and 4) Searching for Truth. Basic Training sessions are offered once/month on Saturdays from 9am-12pm. The next session will be “Searching for Truth” on Sat, Apr 16 in the youth room. No sign up necessary. Just show up!
