Local Impact for Youth & Families
Join in on these opportunities for youth (grades 6-12) & families to connect and serve with our local mission partners this summer. On Mon, Jun 20 from 6-8pm, we will help sort donations for Beautiful U in Elburn. Then on Thu, Jun 23, from 10am-5pm we will landscape and paint at The Life Center in Elgin. Women’s Ministry invites you to “Walk and Talk”
Ladies, let’s take hold of the beautiful summer weather and get together for “Walk and Talk”. We’ll meet once a month at various locations to walk, talk, and enjoy fellowship with each other. Each walk will end with a treat at a local ice cream shop. What better way to enjoy an evening out with friends. Save the dates for June 27, July 18, and August 15.  We will meet at 6:30pm. The event will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather. Please sign up on the connection card so we know you will be joining us. All-Church Community Outreach for June!
Join Pastor Matt on Thu, Jun 23,from 6:30-8pm to serve at the Lazarus House in Saint Charles, IL. We’ll do some painting, remodeling, sorting and organizing all while serving the homeless in our community. Participants must be 12-years-old or older. Sign up online or on the Connection Card. Let’s come together to bless our community and show the love of Christ.

Serving at the Elburn Food Pantry Dinner
Every 5th Thursday (this month it’s June 30) from 5-7pm, we provide the meal for those who use the Elburn Food Pantry. The main entree will be Pulled Pork sandwiches from Ream’s Meat Market. Please register online or check your Connection Card to provide food items or offer your services. It’s a great way to connect people with Jesus and to serve together. Start Here is the new membership class being offered on Sun, Jul 17 from 11:30am-1:30pm. It’s also for anyone who has questions about the church or simply wants to know more about Lord of Life. Pastor Matt will share the history, mission, vision and values of the church. Membership at Lord of Life means that you’re ready to make this your church home and contribute to fulfill the mission of Connecting people with Jesus and each other! Sign Up for Vacation Bible School and Help Serve
Join us this summer, July 11-15, for SonSpark Labs VBS where kids will discover God’s formula for life: GP4U = J (God’s Plan for You = Jesus). Each evening a family dinner will start at 5:15pm, followed by the program from 6-8pm. The cost is $30/family. All children Preschool (age 3) through 5th grade are invited to participate. Register in the lobby or online at www.lolchurch.net/vbs. Youth and adults are invited to help serve. We need help with meals, crafts, games, nursery, check-in, group leaders, and group assistants. Support Our June Mission of the Month
Wycliffe Bible Translators is dedicated to translating and delivering Scripture to people around the world in a language and form they understand best.  We support Wycliffe missionaries John and Bonnie Nystrom who serve eleven language groups in Papua, New Guinea. They are training Papua New Guineans to translate the Bible into their own languages, coaching them through the translation process, and equipping them to pass on their skills to more translators from some of the 300 language groups in Papua that still have no Scripture at all. Lord of Life Preschool has openings available in the three and four year old programs for the 2016/2017 school year. Come Play Golf on Monday Evenings
