Bowling For Babies to HELP TLC Pregnancy Services
TLC Pregnancy Services is holding their annual Bowling For Babies fundraiser at Bowlway Lanes in Elgin on Sat, Feb 21, from 11:30am-2:30pm. This is a great opportunity to support one of our mission partners as they continue to provide free pregnancy testing to all women and share the good news of Jesus Christ to all who enter their various locations. You’re Invited to the Missions Board Meetings
The Mission Board of Lord of Life Church invites you to attend our monthly meetings to learn about, and participate in, what God is doing through you, and through the many missions at Lord of Life Church. We will meet in the upstairs conference room on Wed, Feb 25, at 6:30-8 pm. The following months after that, we will meet every third Wednesday of the month at the same time in the same place. We are excited about what God is up to at Lord of Life Church. Please join us and share in the joy of missions.

Get Ready For An All-Church Book Study with Pastor Matt
Pastor Matt will lead a book discussion that will help all of us share our faith more confidently and naturally. The book is “God Space: Where Spiritual Conversations Happen Naturally” by Doug Pollock. The dates of the book discussion are Wed, Jan 28 from 6:30-8:30pm and Thu, Jan 29 from 9:30-11:30am. Only sign up for one since both will be the same content just different times to accommodate people’s schedules. If you still need a book, purchase an eBook or order it online. Iron Sharpens Iron Conference for Men
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:17. This conference on Sat, Mar 14 is for men of all ages, emerging men (age 13) to seasoned men. It will be at Central Christian Church in Beloit, WI. We’ll meet at Lord of Life at 6am to carpool and return by 7pm. The cost is $50 when paid by Sun, Mar 1. Students (age 13-22) are only $35. Elburn Food Pantry Dinner
This Thu, Jan. 29 at 5pm will be our time to serve and provide food for the Elburn Food Pantry Dinner. There are many ways to serve. January Mission of the Month
AWANA is a global, non-denominational ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve him. Awana reaches kids for Christ through fun, scripture rich experiences that helps churches and parents work together through the gospel to develop spiritually strong children. The program reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey. Each week, more than 1.5 million kids participate in Awana in over 12,000 churches in the U.S. and nearly 13,000 internationally through programs that change young lives through biblical truth.
