Help with TORCH Weekend and/or Closing Ceremony
We are in need of volunteers to attend the TORCH Closing Ceremony on Sun, Nov 8 from 2:30-4pm. We also have needs for baked cookies (300 dozen). Please drop off the cookies by Wed, Nov 4 at Lord of Life Church. They will be packed and sent to IYC on Thu, Nov 5. Another great need is for prayer. The entire weekend will be covered in prayer by people praying for the young men and the TORCH team volunteers during 30 minute prayer slots. The Closing Ceremony is a big deal to these young men. The more people the more powerful the impact of the message these young men receive as having someone support them in their new walk with Christ. Please see table displays in the Solid Rock Lodge and use your Connection Card to sign up for your area of interest. For more info please contact Carlos Baez (630) 306-1989.
