Five Wishes Workshop – Sun, April 19th
Five Wishes is an easy to use legal document written in everyday language that lets adults of all ages plan how they want to be cared for in case unable to speak for yourself and/or become seriously ill. It is America’s most popular living will with more than 18 million copies in circulation. It deals with all of a person’s needs: medical, personal, emotional and spiritual. Five Wishes is for you, your children and your parents. Please plan on attending our workshop on Sun, Apr 19, 11:30am-1:30pm where we’ll provide opportunity for you to complete the Five Wishes document. Lunch will be provided. Wondering if you will be able to help your child finish college and still retire someday? With planning, you can. You’re invited to attend a complimentary, 60 minute college planning overview to learn how academics, admissions, and financial strategies can work together to help save you money on college. Mon, Apr 20 from 6:30-7:30pm at Geneva Lutheran Church (301 S Third St, Geneva) or Sun, May 3 from 4:30-6pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church (950 Hart Rd, Batavia). Pack Food for Chicagoland Families
Volunteer with Thrivent Financial and community members on Sat, Mar 28 at the Northern Illinois Food Bank (273 Dearborn Ct, Geneva) from 9am-Noon to help sort and pack food for distribution to Chicagoland food pantries. Ladies, Want to Study Revelation Starting in the Fall?
Bible Study Fellowship International will be studying the book of Revelation beginning Wed, Sep 16, to the end of April 2016. The class includes questions for personal study, discussion groups for sharing insights, and lectures with practical applications. The class meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:10-11am at Lord of Life Church. A program for members’ children’s ages birth to 1st grade is offered at the same time. Interested women are invited to attend a welcome/registration class on Wed, at 9:10am on either April 8 or 15 at Lord of Life. An evening group for women will meet on Wednesday evenings beginning Sept 16, 6:30-8:15am at Village Bible Church, 847 N. State Route 47 in Sugar Grove. The welcome/registration for this will be held on May 6 at 6:30pm. Holy Week and Easter Worship
Join us for Holy Week and Easter worship services. Maundy Thursday worship is Thu, April 2, and Good Friday worship is Fri, Apr 3. Both worship services are at 7pm. Easter Sunday, Apr 5, worship services are at 8:30 and 10am.

Easter Eggstravaganza Family Event

Outreach at LaFox Train Station
Build on relationships we began over Christmas. Come out early Mon, Mar 30 from 6-7:15am to hand out treats and Easter invitations to our LaFox Station commuters. Enjoy Desserts and Deliver Easter Lilies
Come and gather with others to enjoy desserts and then go and deliver Easter Lilies to our homebound families. We’re planning on coming together on Thu, Mar 26, 6:30-7pm. Please bring a dessert that will serve 5-10 people. We’ll meet in the Solid Rock Lodge to have dessert and then split into teams to deliver the lilies to our homebound families at 7pm. Come Serve at H.E.L.P.S. Ministries
H.E.L.P.S.our mission partner in the Valley View neighborhood of St. Charles needs volunteers on Saturday afternoon, April 4th to help serve at the ministry’s annual outreach Sabbath Easter dinner. Learn about C-WOW Church Without Walls
C-WOW, Church Without Walls, is located in Ghana, Africa. John Donkoh is C-WOW’s leader who serves as a missionary in Ghana where he preaches, teaches and leads the native people to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. John also trains leaders to help meet the growing demands of the local church plants in his community. Save the Dates for Vacation Bible School
This summer, July 20-24, our “Journey off the Map” VBS will take kids to uncharted territory where they will begin to understand that obedience to God can lead them beyond the expected. So, toss the map, stick close to your guide, and prepare to listen for God’s direction in this journey that is unknown to us, but known by Him! Mark your calendar for July 20-24. More details soon.
