Thanks for a Great Week of Vacation Bible School
Thanks to everyone who helped make VBS an amazing journey off the map with Jesus! Thank you to all who donated kitchen and craft supplies. Thank you to all of the volunteers (over 60) and all of the families (close to 100 kids), who participated throughout the week. Thanks to the area leaders: Becky Fair and her kitchen crew fed over 70 families each night.  Rob Linke, Matt Byars, Ken Johnston and their crew provided exciting games.  Emily Varsho, Ali Laub, and their helpers provided fabulous crafts.  Christina Durrant and her girls provided excellent music and dramas. Thanks to the group leaders for shepherding the kids. And a big thanks to Mary Miller and LeeAnn Acosta for taking the lead and doing a fantastic job of recruiting and coordinating to make VBS possible!

Support Our July Mission of the Month
This month highlights Lord of Life’s own Comfort Dog, Chloe. As a trained comfort dog, Chloe interacts with children and adults in our local public schools, IYC prison, Lazarus House, nursing homes, hospitals, events and in disaster response situations. A comfort dog is a friend who brings a calming influence, allowing people to open up their hearts and receive help for what is affecting them. Chloe’s ministry opens a door to share the good news of Jesus Christ. Chloe is part of the K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry of Lutheran Church Charities. For more info, please contact Sandi Kessler at sandi.kessler@sbcglobal.net
