Lent Paint and Preach Sermon Series Starts Next Sunday
This Sun, Feb 14 is the first Sunday in Lent, a six-week season in the church year to journey with Jesus toward his cross and the resurrection. For six weeks, Pastor Matt will paint a large canvas during worship to connect the gospel with the arts. Invite your friends and family to worship the Lord who died and rose again!

Christian Art Show Starts Sunday!
Artists of all ages (really, children, youth and adults) are invited to participate in the Lord of Life Art Show during Lent (Feb 14-Mar 27). If so, please submit it to the art show by bringing it to the church anytime during office hours. Yes, late entries are accepted. Submission forms are available at the Connect Cart or in the church office. All artwork needs to be submitted with a form. Artwork will be collected in the church office upstairs and then displayed around the church from Sun, Feb 14-Sun, Mar 27. For more info contact Pastor Matt at matt@lolchurch.net.

Care for Our College Students
It’s that time of year again where we take the time to send a note and a small gift to our members in college. Please help the Care Board by supplying the name(s) of your child(ren) who could use a note of encouragement and a small gift while at school. Please write their contact information on your Connection Card or send an email to cberg@lolchurch.net.

Ways You Can Help the Kitchen Committee
The Kitchen Oversight Committee could use your help. It’s a very simple request. Whenever you place food/drink items in any of our refrigerators for whatever reason, please label with a date and the purpose of the food item(s). It really helps us to know why and when the food arrives. If not, we throw it out since we don’t know when or why it came. Many thanks!

New Member Welcome!
We’ll welcome 16 new members into our church family during both worship services on Sun, Feb 21. Please be sure to greet them and welcome them. What a joy it is to partner together to connect people with Jesus and each other.
