Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee has been established and consists of Gary Meyer, Jennie Linke, Vicki Bergquist and Dave Ott.  They are seeking nominees to serve on the Board of Elders and Exec Board for the upcoming June elections. If you feel called to serve in one of these positions, please indicate your choice on this mornings connection card.

Memorial Garden
There will be a plant sale in the upper parking lot today and next Sunday between services and after the 10am service. If you have plants to donate please contact Dianne Edgell 815.734.1355. All donations and proceeds will benefit the Lord of Life Memorial Garden. Also, please save your aluminum cans. Once again this year we will be collecting them. Drop off location will be announced in the near future.

Coming this Summer, an opportunity to enjoy the play and study the book with other Christian Sisters. Corrie ten Boom was a woman admired for her courage, her forgiveness, and her memorable faith. Corrie’s dramatic life story, full of timeless virtues, has prepared readers to face their own futures with faith, relying on God’s love to overcome, heal, and restore. Our small group will be meeting bi-weekly Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm starting June 1st. Please purchase your book prior to the start of our first class.
