Haiti update

Money was sent to our Haitian missionary Markenley Chery  to purchase Creole Bibles for the 13 members of Pastor Alex’s congregation that will be baptized on December 31. They need to travel by bus to the water for full water immersion baptism. Lord of Life has provided funds for Markenley to secure a bus for them to use.
The bus will pick up Pastor Alex and members of the congregation and take them off site for a full immersion baptism.
Construction materials have been ordered and delivered and the church is well underway!
Walls are going up and many volunteers have been showing up on a daily basis! One worker was injured yesterday and take into the hospital. An update today indicates that he is doing fine with nothing broken, praise God!

Please continue to pray:
We ask for prayers that the bus does not have any complications, that the church members will be transported safely to and from the baptism.
We ask for prayers against spiritual warfare that may try to stop this baptism from occurring.
We give prayers of thanks for our missionary in Haiti, Markenley Chery, that he is able to continue this work.
We thank God for providing the volunteers who are constructing the church and ask that they are kept safe from injury.
We pray for Pastor Alex as he preaches the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ to people who are hearing the gospel for the first time! We pray that more people will accept Christ and convert from voodoo to eternal life with our Savior.
We pray for discernment for Pastor Alex that he is hearing God’s word and delivering God’s message.
We pray for all the people at Lord Of Life Church who are committed to the prayer vigil and support the people in Haiti.
We give thanks for our mission partner International Foundation For Orphans who also made a contribution to purchase Bibles for the 12 widows in Pastor Alex’s congregation, as well as blanket sets for the widows.
We also ask for prayers of safety for the nation of Haiti as their election results are announced this evening, December 29.
Blessings to you all! God is good!
