Lord of Life will once again be hosting a Seder Dinner on Palm Sunday, March 28 starting at 5pm. Tickets for this event will be $10 each and will go on sale starting on Sunday, February 28. The deadline for purchasing tickets will be March 21.
The Seder Dinner is part of the observance of the Passover that goes back to the book of Exodus in the Old Testament when the people of Israel were freed from their slavery in Egypt. On the night Jesus was betrayed, he instituted the Lord’s Supper while he shared this meal with his disciples.
It is our desire that by participating in the Seder meal as a church, that we will develop a renewed understanding and appreciation of the the Lord’s Supper we share each and every Sunday. This meal is not only a worship experience, but an educational experience as well.
