Ready to be Confirmed?
We have scheduled a Confirmation Sunday to encourage youth to take steps on the path to a personal profession of the Christian faith. Men Studying Matthew’s Gospel
Join this group of men who meet on Fridays from 6:30-7:30am in the Solid Rock Lodge to study God’s Word together. They are currently going verse by verse through the book of Matthew. Learn how to use a concordance and cross reference other parts of the Bible to deepen personal Bible study and understanding. No previous Bible study experience is necessary! Questions? Women Studying the Life of Gideon
Ever feel insufficient? Could it be that your weaknesses are the keys that unlock God’s strength? Through a look at the life of Gideon (Judges 6-8), you can discover that instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, you can see them as the gifts, given specifically and strategically by God to unlock the door of God’s strength in your life. March Mission of the Month: AWANA
AWANA was founded in 1950 at North Side Gospel Center in Chicago by a pastor who recognized the value in kids learning Scripture. The name stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” from 2 Timothy 2:15. Today, AWANA has programs in 17,000 churches in the US and 13,000 internationally, teaching, children to faithfully know and follow Jesus Christ. Lord of Life’s AWANA missionary is Ken Krup who works with 190 churches in the Chicago area who have AWANA programs. AWANA meets on Wednesday evenings at Lord of Life from 6:15-8pm. The Life Center Pregnancy Services Mission Partner
Mark your calendar for the Annual Fundraising Dinner on Thu, Apr 24 at 6:30pm with special guest speaker, Senator Rick Santorum. Monthly Food Drive for Elburn Food Pantry
Each month Lord of Life Church and Preschool partner for a monthly food drive benefiting the Elburn Food Pantry. This month we are collecting paper products such as, paper towels, napkins, facial tissue, and toilet paper. Due Date: Mon, Mar 31. Drop off items at the mission bulletin board. Quilters of the King
We meet Thursdays at 9am if you want to join us. We have devotion, snacks and lots of laughs. If you don’t sew, we will teach you. You can also iron or help organize the closet. Save the Dates for Vacation Bible School
Set sail on an amazing grace adventure this summer! Gangway to Galilee VBS will take us on and around the Sea of Galilee with five accounts of Jesus’ ministry there. By grace through faith, Jesus calls us, teaches us, keeps us safe, saves us, and provides all we need now and forever. That’s amazing grace! Mark your calendar for July 21-25.
