Help Us Makeover the Children’s Classrooms
We want our children’s ministry environment and experience to be inviting, exciting, safe, and intentionally designed to help kids connect with Jesus and others. Join Pastor Matt for a Summer Book Study
Join Pastor Matt for Lord of Life’s Summer Book Study as we read and discuss The Jesus I Never Knew, a classic written by 21st-century Christian author Philip Yancey. The Jesus I Never Knew is one of the most influential books on Pastor Matt’s faith and he is excited to discuss it with you this summer. The same class will be offered twice to accommodate people’s schedules: Wed, July 30 from 6:30-8:30pm; Thu, July 31 9:30am-11:30am. Drive for TLC (The Loving Choice) Crisis Pregnancy Center…
…in Elgin is in need of part time drivers for the 31 foot RV mobile bus.  You do not need to stay with the bus when it is at a location, just drive it to that set location and return it to the TLC center in Elgin at the end of the day.  You do not need a special license.  If interested, please contact Ruth from TLC at (224) 558-2262.

Help Veterans Recover from PTSD
Lord of Life will provide dinner for veterans during the Boots and Hooves program on Tue, Jun 24 at 5pm. Boots and Hooves is an equine assisted psychotherapy program for veterans suffering from PTSD. If you are interested in bringing a dish, transporting food from the church to Promise Equestrian Center in Maple Park, serving the dinner and/or enjoying dinner and fellowship with the veterans contact Robin Mathieu at or(630) 715-2198. MidWay Youth Pool Party
