Monthly Food Drive for Elburn Food Pantry
Each month Lord of Life Church will partner with Lord of Life Preschool for a monthly food drive for our own Elburn Food Pantry. To encourage the children in the art of giving they are taking one marble out of the “need” jar and place it in the “give” jar to show their act of giving. We’ll do the same with the two jars in front of the Mission Display Board. Our goal each month will be one item per LoL family or about 205 items. This month (January) we are collecting Soup & Pasta/Rice/Beans-canned soup, Ramen, soup mixes, pastas, rice, beans, etc. If every family brings in just one item, our goal will be reached…any additional items will help us exceed the goal!
