Favorite Bible Verse: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”  Jeremiah 29:11-13

My ministry at Lord of Life: Every day I praise the Lord for Lord of Life! As my three daughters were approaching their teenage years, I had a lot of growing to do! It was Lord of Life that taught me how to dig deeper in the word and apply it everyday. As my daughters continued growing through their teens, Lord of Life helped me through the joys and tears. The Lord obviously had plans for me that I was not ready to recognize, but brought me to Lord of Life to understand His word better and to encompass me with people that were ready to show me how to be patient and trust in Him. Many times he answered my prayers before a word was even spoken. As I look back through the years the Lord taught me a lot about myself through my daughters – discernment, compassion, and never to judge. To this day I have such a passion for learning to understand others, where they are at spiritually and what roads the Lord took them on to get to where they are. I enjoy working behind the scenes, to organize and use publishing programs – it’s like trying to put a puzzle together.

What is so special about being at Lord of Life: It is such an encouragement to be around other believers and those that hold you accountable. Since being at Lord of Life God has brought many blessings into my life, mostly learning how to go deeper into His word and applying it to every day living.

Other stuff about me: My husband Frank and I have been married since 1983 and have 3 daughters – Brandi (married in 2005 and is a licensed dog groomer), Wendy works at a local veterinarian clinic in St. Charles and is attending ECC. Karly attends Burlington Central High School and has been playing soccer since she was four years old.
